Because the Cisco Networking Academy Program first targeted high schools and community colleges, a faculty existed to train as instructors. Networking Academies in community education programs, community-based organizations, unions and other non-traditional educational environments often need to recruit from outside of their organization to find instructors with the right experience and teaching skills to work with their target populations.
