Curriculum Features
The Academy program recognizes multiple learning styles of
students with Web-based, multimedia content; online assessment
and evaluation throughout the course; hands-on labs; and
instructor training and support by providing the features listed
below.
Accessibility
The Academy program is committed to
engage various learning styles with multimedia such as video
products that allow for visual repetition of lessons and
activities, as well as provide alternative methods of
instructional delivery to students.
The Academy program assists schools by creating instructional
materials that provide accessibility options to meet the needs
of diverse student populations in order to ensure that the
curriculum is ADA compliant.
Examples of accessibility options include maintaining and
providing curriculum text documents that can be utilized for
text-to-speech device conversion.

Standards alignment includes data gathering, validation and
maintenance.
The standards database stores data related to state standards
and various skill clusters.
As IT industry trends and standards change and as the associated
curriculum changes, the standards database will be updated.
